About Us

We all know that being an entrepreneur is not an easy job. There will be times that we will be working 24/7 or need to accomplish a task right away- regardless if we are having breakfast, traveling for business, or driving on our way home. True, mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets have made it easier to work mobile but sometimes, it’s hard to get everything organized when the work done on the phone doesn’t reflect on our laptops or desktops.

Good thing that there are many productivity apps now available in iOS and Android to make our lives easier! We collated some of our favorites just for you.

1. Evernote

Price: Free

Available on: iOS, Android, Desktop

Evernote is a digital notebook that can organize everything in your life. It can be used for jotting down thoughts and ideas, keep copies of reports, track down your expenses, or creating to do lists. What’s great about it is that you can create multiple notebooks, which can easily categorize your notes. Evernote is rich in various other features such as an alarm, search, and share. One can also easily embed other forms of media as well such as presentations, videos, and audio files. This app is easy to use and has a clean interface. In the past, you can sync your notes across multiple devices but the latest update only allows up to 2 devices. Should you need it across 3 or more devices, just upgrade to the Premium package for a small fee.

2. Slack

Price: Free

Available on: iOS, Android, Desktop

Slack is such a cool way to communicate with your colleagues that even the team behind the Mars Curiosity Rover uses this app. More than just a messaging app, it can help organize your team based on topic, project or department. For private information, one can create a private channel that no one else can see or join.  One can easily share all types of files or sync with Google Drive, Dropbox, or Box. All of the messages and files shared (including Dropbox) are also searchable, making it easier to backtrack past communication. Slack is free but for added features such as group call and consolidated billings, there are upgrade plans available.

3. Dropbox

Price: Free

Available on: iOS, Android, Desktop

Dropbox is a way for you to store multiple files on the cloud, which can be accessed by other individuals all at one.  Instead of emailing each other back and forth updated versions of a particular file, everyone can edit, view, and save just 1 version online.

4. CamCard

Price: Free

Available on: iOS, Android, Web Browser

As entrepreneurs, we will always need to network and meet more people. Whether we meet potential customers or future investors, it can be difficult to keep track of all our contacts. CamCard scans, stores, and manages all business cards we receive. Once the card is stored in the app, one can easily contact the person, share the card to others, or categorize them based on industry, meeting place, etc. One can also add notes and tags, making it easier to search for the person if needed.

5. Lastpass

Price: Free

Available on: iOS, Android, Desktop

As an entrepreneur, it can be hard to remember everything, including the passwords to every app and social media site we manage. Lastpass acts as a vault where you can keep track and manage all your passwords. It can also help you fill out forms. For security, don’t worry-they assure all their users that information will be safe through leading encryption logarithm and other safeguards. The app is free but should you want to access Lastpass in multiple devices, there is an upgrade available for $12.

Are there other apps that you use that you think we should include or know about? Feel free to share! We would love to hear from you.
